Why we made PlutoSphere
Pluto’s purpose is to help humanity transcend physical location. This means being able to feel physically together when distant.
We’ve worked hard to bring Pluto’s people layer to the PC, and thanks to an open ecosystem, with the support of open standards and community collaboration people can seamlessly communicate across spatial applications.
The problem is a lot of people are using non-PC VR and AR. While affordable and convenient, these other ecosystems are often closed, lacking the broad capabilities of the PC.
PlutoSphere lets us bring the power, capabilities, and openness of high-end PC VR to every spatial device. PlutoSphere starts with gaming, but will soon go far beyond, allowing people to seamlessly interact with each other, and applications, across VR, wearable AR and mobile AR.
